John Candy was a comedic genius. When he was on screen, you never took your eyes off of him. I love all of his movies, but my favorite is Uncle Buck. It is a comedy classic of the highest order. It never fails to lift me up and give me a million smiles. He is sadly missed.

The one person i wish id met in real life he has given me so many happy times watching his films even my kids love his films such a big kind and gentle person i still remember the day he passed away still miss him even now all the best to his family from scotland

I love this man. I idolized him as a kid. The first of many sad days as a child came when I learned he was gone. I heard it on the radio, I was 9 or 10. Besides the OKC bombing and my parents divorce, this was the worst event for me that year. RIP Mr Candys
