I woke up to canadian bacon on.. Its amazing how much we miss his work... he had one of the best chemistrey with comedy movies and I sure do miss him

john we miss you and love you my own dad died year after john 95 just age 57 years old oh god i wish he was still here like you john now am a mum and have three beautful kids in which he never seen he would of made a great grand daddy you had two children i wounder if they have kids now well john still in our thoughts love and peace 4 everxx

John Candy was one of the funniest actors I've ever seen. I grew up watching Candy in Great Outdoors, Uncle Buck, and so on. He was fantastic at what he did and it's a tribute to him that people are still celebrating his life 15 years after his death. We love you John Candy. Bamboo is my business!!!!!!!!

John Candy is a comic legend. Summer rental for me defines comedy. The simple but hilarious scene of John walking on the beach with the cooler dripping water over everyone is classic shit!...Good Bless John Candy!

Still sad to this day about the greatest comic/actors passing. Watched a dvd of The Great Outdoors last night with my 15 year old son so he could see who I have been talking about all these years!! He made a comment about several of Johns one liners I still use to this day....he was like... "Dad, is that where you learned that from?"...made me smile and proudly admit I stole it from THE Man!!
