I'm just watching COOL RUNNINGS on tv now and looked up John Candy online - he was a stand out actor, I agree with everyone's sentiments here. He was a Real person we could and can continue to identify with and feel he is a friend. Thanks for your legacy John. I truly wish you were still with us and healthy and happy. |

I miss him so much. It was so nice to meet him and be in his movie 'Hostage for a Day' He was filming in Richmond Hill and we just popped in as extras. He was so nice. On my bucket list was to party with him for one night. Still watch his movies and cry laughing. You are so missed John, a one of a kind guy X |

The first time I ever saw John Candy was in that Chevy Chase movie Summer Vacation where they went to "Wallyworld". I really don't know why but I always thought that the guard was Jimmy Carter's brother "Billy"! |

I have a video that I bought at a yard sale that is Starring John Candy called "Call the Cops" but I have never heard of that movie. I think that it is a knock off renamed movie by the distribution company or is a foreign titled movie. The movie has 3 pictures on it and they are two on the back from Harry Crumb and the other is a motorcycle clip from Armed and Dangerous. The video was released by the MNTEX Entertainment Company in 1991 Catalog #5764 it looks like it originally came from a mom and pop video store. Thank you for your time, and kind regards. I am just sooo confused about this movie! Casey Hill |

I have often wondered what movie (if any) best depicts the real John Candy. I've always thought that it might be "Summer Rental". |
