I never ever get tired of watching a John Candy film..He is just a really loveable and funny guy...If i ever get a chance to have a dinner with one celebrity..this without doubt is the one i wouldpick..Love you John!

Does anyone know how many movies that he has played in? I know about 52, but that includes tv-movies and small parts. I haven't included "hercules in New York" since I don't believe that he plays in it. I have seen the movie, and I don't think the character looks alike him. I have 42 movies with him. Does anyone know where I can buy more movies on DVD with him? Øyvind

One of the Biggest fans of the "Great" John Felix Candy! I love and cherish all one his many films; my favorite probably having to be Uncle Buck! It's great to see a website dedicated to John Candy! Keep expnading and keeping the site going.

I'm just finding out that john Candy is Canadian !!am so happy to see this :) being myself Canadian from Montreal . Plane ,Trains and Automobiles is by bar the best movie !love this actor it seems as all the good one's are leaving ! thanks John for leaving us with some real good movies to watch and to remember you as a funny &talented actor your legacy will live on forever ;)

I've just watched Planes, Trains & Automobiles, which I watched two or three times about ten years ago, when I was a child. It is still a honest and heartwarming story, that is showing the actual values of life. It is really touching and I'm enjoying this and his other movies. He will be remembered!

You know, Jennifer, Chris, if you read this, please know how much I enjoyed your dad's work! I'm a big guy too; and some of my friends say I could pass as your Pop's "look-a--like" but, nobody, but nobody, can match that twinkle and expression that was a direct line into his wonderful soul. I saw Planes, Trains and Automobiles again last night; and it just filled me with a great feeling and fond memories of the career of John Candy! And! He got to work with Maureen O'Hare! The actress I have had a serious crush on since being a kid! Lucky guy!

I turned on my tv and there was John Candy in Planes, Trains and Automobiles. The first thing that came to my mind is how funmy he was, I just loved him. The Great Outdoors is my favorite. I It is sad that he is gone. But he is not forgotten!

My uncle in Canada was a police detective and John would go to the station to get his licenses and permits,etc. My uncle said John was a super nice guy, very genuine. It was so nice to hear there are some actors out there that are real,cool,down to earth people !! I LOVE John, and we lost a great guy. He will ALWAYS be GREATLY MISSED !!!!! Wherever he is, he is cracking everybody up, that's for sure !!

John made me laugh as a kid from watching his movies. He lived a 5 minute drive away from me near Toronto. People used to say they would see him driving around. What a shame he died.
