Discovered SCTV and John on KHJ-TV in LA in the mid 70,s....I was absolutey hooked on Johnny LaRue...Hefty Neal and all the others overnight. My 21 yr old son has grown up on SCTV and finds the humor just as fresh today as it was 30 years ago to me... I hope others will continue to share the unique and innovative humor of John and continue to honor his memory with family and friends..and may the good lord take a liken to you and blow you up real good!...Don Walker

i like john candy, i always watch his movie, but never know his name. only today i i know that his name john candy. he's so funnny in his times. i still love his movie. if only i get achance to meet him. u will always be remembered.

John Candy was the best celebrity in my eyes. I grew up watching his movies,and cry every time I watch them. I feel like I lost a dear family member. Even though I never got the chance to meet him,or send letters. I miss you, John Candy.

In my humble opinion, one of the finest dramatic actors. I watch and re-watch all his films to revisit his obvious passion and compassion. perhaps my all-time favorite scenes is his wave goodbye at the end of Uncle Buck. I miss you, John Candy.

John was a special actor to me. i have grown up watching him and to this day i still tear up when i think of him gone. He will be forever in my heart and i hope his family is well. God Bless You John you will live on in my mind forever ..

I am watching Uncle Buck and enjoying this movie probably for the third time. I watched Canadian Bacon for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I just love you father's acting -- he really was one of a kind. When I was very young I loved his part as the dracula?/ He'd hold pancakes and move them back and forth to the camera--. When my husband and I dated ten years ago he remembered the same scene. Laugher is like medicine.

John Candy was the funniest person I've ever seen his movies made me laugh uncle buck was my favorite. My favorite movies of his: uncle buck, the great out doors, trains plans and automobiles.

My favorite movie that he did was the great outdoors, the water skiing was a riot because that is what I would look like if I tried. It is always great to have someone that is down to earth and can make you laugh. He is greatly missed.

I loved every movie I seen John in,He made me laugh until I cried in some of his movies.Trains,Pl anes,and Automobiles was one of my favorites!!! Miss his great smile!!

17 years later and your still missed john, i dont know how the hell you did it but your still everyones favourite, i still watch your films over and over your such a pleasure to watch. noone makes films like they used to anymore. take care mr candy you will always be missed
