"The Great Outdoors" is still my all time favorite movie! John Candy was blessed with talent and humor and shared it with us in a sweet, vulnerable way that touches the heart while making us laugh. I miss him.

John Candy is one of a kind and is and always will be missed dearly... He is My Hero and has been from a very young age... I cried at every sad scene in all of His movies including the Trains, Planes & Automobiles toward the end when Steve goes back for John and John explains that His wife has been dead for 8 years and that He doesn't have a home... Very upsetting. Jo hn will always play a huge role in My life and My life is almost rotated around Him. He will be in My Heart and Soul for now.. and forever. I love Him dearly and miss Him every minute of every day! Such a fantastic guy!

I just wanna say that I think John was a great actor and it's a shame that he died so young. I love the scene in Armed and Dangerous when John flats the tire of the monstertruck owned by the ''cool'' teenagers. John will never be forgotten and that will we, his fans make sure of.

When I watch John's movies, I find it so hard and emotional because he's not here. There is no other actor that can make me laugh harder then John. I miss you buddy. I know your in heaven making God laugh.

I still tear up sometimes while watching planes train and automobiles thinking about how you're gone now. You remind me of my dad who passed away four years ago so when I see you in a movie it makes me think of him which makes me happy. Even though you were taken from us too young, I am glad that you were taken in your sleep and felt no pain. You will continue to be missed.

Long live the larger than life JC!! Growing up in the 80's in Australia was a treat for his comedy. Faves of mine such as Uncle Buck, Who's Harry Crumb and Great Outdoors still get regular play in our home. Deeply missed and warmly remembered - keep up the great work guys.
