I am 29 years old and had never seen a John Candy film, until today. After watching 'Uncle Buck', I laughed and wished I had a 'UB'. It was a lovely entertaining movie, enjoyed John Candys acting very much. Just wanted to learn more about him and remembered he has passed on, such a shame. Giving a shout out on this site because his memory (for me, in movies) deserves it.

Simply the most loveable comedian to have ever graced a movie screen...terribl y missed and absolutely tragic for the world to have such a talent taken away from us far too early...We miss you John...so pleased this site is here to pay tribute to such a great guy

A great character, who emitted an enormous amount of warmth. Always a feel good movie, and a big smile which would melt an ice cube. Cheers for the memories big man & may you rest in peace.

John Candy was on of a kind, a sweet man with a sweet spirit. Fragile, yet at the same time had a quiet gentle strength. At times I see a movie that JC could of played in and how he would of put "his spin on it". John is sorely missed.
