Love your site! John Candy was the best of the best actors who could make you get a good, clean laugh in one minute & just as sad the next (e.g. Only the Lonely). But what about the cartoon series "Camp Candy?" I didn't see it on here anywhere... Anyway, thanks for preserving such an important icon and both Canadian and American legend. (I still can't believe he's gone!) Sad!

John Candy, or "Mr.Great Personality" was a kind and inspirational person. He knew how to be funny and from this his performance really shined. I think that his passion was acting in comedy's that made us laugh. He definitely is missed, and his life in the movies will always live on. (including the movies still on VHS)

Nice work with the way this website is! I'm so glad John had 2 kids...together with the SCTV reruns, all the movies, etc through which he still lives and makes people laugh. I love thinking of him and Steve Martin motoring on their way in that burned out K-car.

Just watched Uncle Buck again for the umpteenth dozen time (off work sick today), and once again cried at the end with the final snapshot of John waving goodbye.... It is as I will always remember him, knowing he is gone forever. Our family will always love and miss him. RIP Johnno xxoo
