I only wish I could have one minute to tell John Candy how much I love him, how truly great he was, and how dearly he is missed. I just finished watching Cool Runnings again...and I cried&cried, again...because of John Candy. John was the star, he was the movie...yet the info descript doesn't mention him. As successful as he was--I wish it were even more...he was the most unsung great actor ever. With Love John, RIP --Lyndaxo

John Candy was a role model for millions of people & brought so much joy to everyone, he was so personal one felt as if they knew him personally. I wish there were more people in the world like him, he is missed

80's movies were pretty much defined by John Candy's roles. As Saturday Night Live changed our favorite actors, Akyrod, Belushi,and others went into movies which changed my outlook substantially...

Real shame that such a funny man thats been in some of the best films ever made is not about today says it all when i would rather RE watch Candy gold 20-30 years on then put on the latest so called blockbuster comedy hit! yawn!!!!!!!!
