I had the pleasure of meeting John in Feb of 1987 at a Kings game. We spoke briefly and he gave me his autograph. I still have it to this day |

I still miss having John Candy around. I adored him like crazy on Second City adn I STILL laugh when I recall some of his best moments from that show. Trains, Planes brings me to tears because of his touching performance. God Bless. I will always love and miss this great talent. |

I had to do a project (at school) on a great Canadian, so I chose John Candy. I learned a lot about John Candy while doing this assignment. I am glad that John Candy lived! He was an excellent actor and I loved his movies such as Uncle Buck, Heavy Metal, Home Alone, Cool Runnings, Summer Rental, and when he did the cameo on National Lampoon's Vacation (Walleyworld!) John, I never met you because you died before I was born, but I miss you! |

I also caught John's biography last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I never get tired of watching his movies. My particular favorite is "Summer Rental". His comedic talent lives on as does his memory.
Like the marquee read at the end of the show last night, "make God smile John". |

Just finished watching John's biography on tv. So sad to lose such a great talent so young. I'm know he would have been so proud to see eerything his family has achieved! |
