I finally, finally, finally can say, I watched the biography. I missed the premiere when it did come on December 8th but, I had to put it on my dish dvr yesterday. It was wonderful. This is what they should have given John many years ago instead of that awful E! True Hollywood Story. That was awful! That Biography was very wonderful. I am so happy with it and I cannot stop watching it. They did a great job and that is definitely what John deserved. Such a wonderful man to leave us so soon. He was like a breath of fresh air and I bet he was when he walked into a room. I wish I could have met him. How could you not love him. God Bless you John and your family, friends and fans! We ll still love you very much and you will be in our hearts for the rest of our lives. |

Just watched his Bio and instantly put in my favorite movie of him in Uncle Buck. He was a beauty and had such genuine humor. He is missed but will never be forgotton. |

I was wondering if there's any way you'd consider making a different kind of forum for John Candy? The layout for the current one just doesn't look right, and I don't mean that as an insult. It's a bit outdated and untraditional to what most forums look like. It also doesn't have too much activity unfortunately.
Couldn't you create a forum, outside of this fansite, and link back to this place? I'm sure it would work great. Freeforums.org has great services for forums without any cost.
There are a lot of fans of John Candy around the world, I think you could make it work as a forum as well if it would look a bit, looks are everything on the internet.
Lo ve the site, BTW!
Best wishes from a Swedish Candy fan |

Candy was one of the best. What a loss to the film and tv world and to his family of course. We need more candy actors these days. Every time we watch him he is there and makes us feel great. Bless him. |

You are so dearly missed John. It's a holiday tradition in our home to watch Planes Trains and Automobiles. This movie is my favorite. You made us laugh. You still make us laugh. You make us forget the rough times. I wish you were still here my friend. Thanks for everything. I will always remember and think of you. |

Boy I miss him. Just watched Uncle Buck again last night. When I need a good laugh, put on a John Candy movie. The last scene with that smile and wave - that's how I will always remember him. What a talent!!!!!I am one proud Canadian. |

I still watch Cool Runnings over and over and over. Having lived in Jamaica for a year, and then coming back to the states. It is the one movie that keeps me connected. |
