Happy Birthday John. I love you so much, and we all love you so much. You were not just an actor, you were just a regular person like everyone else. You were a hollywood star, but you didn't let it get to your head like all of the other hollywood stars. You liked talking to everyone you met. We are very thankful to have known a nice wonderful man like you. We are thankful to have had you grace our lives with your presence. I will never get sick of watching the movies you were in and sctv and everything else I can find you in thanks to the internet. You were so talented and you could act in any movie, comedy or drama. That is talent. Even our words can't describe what an amazing man you were and still are on the otherside. I bet all of those people are joyed to be having you there. We surely are jealous that they got you so soon. We miss you and love you and lots of us would have loved to have met you. God Bless You John Candy.

I first saw John when SCTV was picked up by NBC. Of all the comic personalities, I like him best. It seemed to me that he was in a class with the legendary John Belushi. They did not need to say a word because their facial expressions said so much. Of all of his roles, his character in "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" was one of his best. I laughed so hard my side hurt afterwards. He also made me get teary-eyed a couple of times. Another favorite film is "uncle Buck". I own both of these films and watch them ever so often.

from the movies i say of him since i was little kid i was young when his movies came out i still remember them like it was yesterday he was a great comedian wish we had more time and movies with him he will be missed
